Pray this Reward is Awarded Soon Someone ruthless needs to be caught. This 2 year old gray mare was brought into the Nevada Livestock Market Wednesday, July 1, 2009 in Fallon, Nevada, after she was found running loose in Round Mountain, Nevada. A chunk of hide and flesh - about the size of a PHANTOM STALLION book --was dug out of her body. Why? Her owner, the human who was supposed to care for her, used her trust to get close enough to cut out her brand so know one would know who'd abandoned her. Many of us are determined that person will be found and exposed. "We need to send a strong message that this sort of abuse won't be tolerated," said Stacy Segal, Humane Society equine protection specialist, and so the Humane Society of the United States to offer a $2,500 reward for information leading to a conviction. This is shockingly terrible. some people just disgust me, especialy thoose who abuse animals. I was wondering though is this mare going to be put up for adoption? she's a gorgeous horse. Mis Terri, I saw on Face Book that your birthday is may 10th! Mine is May 24th! That's terrible! The size of a Phantom stallion book-that's pretty darn big! Hope they catch that dude who did that. That is so awful! I hope they catch whoever is responsible. >:-( The little mare is up for adoption and I know she'll find a kind home. Many experts say animals live in the moment and don't stay depressed over the past like humans do. Hope that's true with this beauty! Happy July to old and new blog readers & Violet -- happy belated birthday! Post a Comment |
