Mythical Beast

HI,
This isn't MY image of the creature, but what do you think it is?
Best,
Terri

Comments: I like the body of the horse and all but to me, it pictures a mustang as a ruthless and terrifing beast. Which in my opinion is not. The head looks more werewolf than horse. Who drew this my I ask? It would be neat to have a mustang or horse drawing contest... something like that. =0)
~Rach
  I haven't the slightest idea...
Oh what is it? I would say a were-horse. "Horse turning into a wolf". I don't know that's my best guess
~Rach
  Uhh, no idea
but the water in the pic sort of reminds me of the story you told in the WHI series about the volcano goddess and her sister. Oddly, this reminds me of the sister
It looks part dragon to me.
it looks like the head of a dragon on a purple horse. ew, those teeth creep me out! what is it anyway?
It doesn't look anything wolf like to me...
Perhaps Jenny is right. It sorta reminds me of the Kraken, a sea serpent beast....
  a kelpie!!

- Joanna
A Kelpie? Hahaha that's all I could think of XD
  Yes!
  Wow!
What is a Kelpie exactly? Definition please someone?
~Rach
A kelpie is a magical Celtic water horse. In most legends, they are beautiful horses that haunt living water (not a hot tub, for instance, but a river or the sea)and are not dangerous unless you try to climb on and ride...
Jenny, I love your comment & it feels like that to me, too!
cool, I've heard of kelpies but i never knew what they were.
Wow, kelpies! I thought at first it had something to do with kelp from the sea?!?!
To mee it looks like the spiret of a wild horse. Magestic and beautiful yet fierce and terrifying. Wild horses would do anything to protect their herd and they have strenght.

It may be a water creture but it reminds me of the personality of a stallion roaming free.
