Valentine's Day, Western style! Dear Readers, Lots of you ask me where you can see wild horses if you don't live in a state where they roam free. Here's one possibility if you live in Ohio: from BLM: Looking for something your Valentine will never forget? A diamond may be forever, but a young wild horse from the West will never be forgotten. The Saturday following Valentines Day, February 16, 2008, the Bureau of Land Management will offer approximately 70 wild horses ranging from yearling to 5 years old, and possibly a few burros, for adoption at the Cooper Arena at the Ohio Expo Center in Columbus, Ohio. If you need more info, let me know and if you live in an apartment or are unable to adopt, feel free to drop in and radiate your love and support at these wonderful creatures so far from home.
